Glad to see the list up here's my first post

Skinwalker (Navajo Wolf)

Skinwalkers are a special shaman assasin of the Navajo
Nation. The get their name because of their ability
to shapechange into a wolf, or more often a coyote.
The skinwalker kills in two ways first. the skinwalker
tries with a bone knife, a bone bullet, or a shotgun
shell with the lead shot replaced with bone beads.
the weapons are coated with Corps Powder.
The powder is made from a former victims palms and
soles of the feet. If a pc comes in contact with
corps powder the pc will get Corps Sickness

Corps Sickness-
Rapid Cancer like symptoms decreases Essence, or unmodified
Body score -1 pt. per week that it goes untreated.
There is no cure or resistance test, A non-Navajo doctor
will not be able to identify the problem. The one and
only cure is the Enemy Way ceremony. The unfortumate
PC will have to find an Enemy Way Singer, they are quite
rare many Navajo singers work on the lesser ceremonies.
If the singer agrees to perform the Enemy Way, he will
demand a large payment of some sort. The PC must also
find out who the skinwalker is and retrieve some personal
item, such as a hat, the singer will help with this.

Notes on skinwalkers

Navajos become skinwalkers by killing a close relative.
   Usually a brother or sister.

Navajos will usually not talk about skinwalkers. Make a
negotiation or intelligence roll with a target of 15.
(this number may be high but I lived near the Navajos
for nine years and never got one to talk about skinwalkers)

If a Navajo thinks the pc is a skinwalker the Navajo will
do his/her best to kill the pc.

A skinwalker would not make a good pc because the
Enemy Way ceremony not only cures the corps sickness it
also kills the skinwalker.

Services from spirits are discussed in decent detail in the Paranormal
Guide, though be warned that the mechanics given for Confusion make it
*very* nasty, and the mechanics for Accident make it rather weak.

There is a list of which services each type of spirit can do in the
basic rules, under the listing for that spirit in the Critters section.
They do *not* do most of the things elementals do--manifest, physical
services, aid spells, spell defense. Their powers tend to be more
subtle (and ill-defined).

An example:

Ratty was trying to find a shaman in Ren'raku. He called up a Force 5
Hearth Spirit of the place, 3 services. He asked two immediately:
Guard me from accident, and Search for a shaman near here. (The
Search must be for something the spirit can recognize, usually something
native to its domain.)

It led him into restricted areas of the building, and he set off an
alarm. He asked it its third service, Concealment, and clung to the
outside of a staircase railing while the guards ran by.

He crept into a utility duct, trusting to the Guard to keep him from
getting electrocuted or crushed, and came out the other end in the
domain of what turned out to be the Machine Shaman of Ren'raku Arcology.
But that's another story.
